⧪ Monday, 3 June                   Group work   Hi everyone!    Today I would like to reflect on group work, a method which is very helpful and very common.This semester we had a lot of presentations to do and most of them were in group just to prepare us for the teaching process.To develop group skills, students need to do more than just complete group tasks. In fact it is very important to reflect on both the processes and products of group work. Over the years probably this lack of realization has resulted in many presentations in which the audience is subjected to one boring slide after another, with little chance for interaction.     But thanks to interactive PowerPoint our presentations do not have to be this way. ⧪Monday,6 May Webinars    Web + Seminar  ( a  presentation, a lecture, transmitted over the web)I  found it a little bit difficult reflecting on it and even more difficult and tiring were the videos as I had to stay in front of the computer for 3(three) hours. Now I would like to share my reflection on webinars,one of the best ways to expand our knowledge.    Webinar is an online meeting that combines some kind of educational presentation or training on the internet, a one-way presentation of the speaker to the participants.They are very popular due to the fact they are inexpensive, easy to produce and can attract a large number of participants. ⧪ Monday,29 April Project-Based Learning    I have ca me across this term many times but only now that I am reading more  about it I can understand what does it mean and how helpful it is for both, the teacher and the students. It is powerful for tracking growth for students and teachers.    This approach is the one that transforms lessons into real life scenarios by engaging students but it also requires a lot of time.  Before incorporating PBL in our classroom,we,as future teachers need to make sure that we have a full understanding of this teaching method.I would like to remind all of you that do not have a clear information yet. ⧪ Monday, 22 April  Flipped Classroom The only thing I keep hearing this semester is online; online learning, online lectures, online discussion. The previous class we came across a new term, "Flipped Classroom", a new approach of learning by watching a video. To be honest I have never before heard it and I had no idea what was meant by flipping classroom and I was like Flipping whattt?? When our teacher told us that we were going to be part of an online class,I had no idea how this strategy works but it sounded great and interesting. It was something new in fact, we watched a video and we were supposed to give our personal refection summarized in 5 sentences.Teacher gave us time to watch it and then we did the follow up work with the teacher providing help and guidance as needed.
